Chat Capabilities

Nirvai Chat is like a Swiss Army knife — one tool with several blades built in, each ready for a different job. You don't switch anything on or install add-ons; the chat picks the right capability for whatever you ask.

Why it matters

Most questions aren't just "look something up." You might need today's news, a chart from your sales numbers, a logo concept, or a quick read of a contract you uploaded. Chat handles all of these in one place, so you're not jumping between separate tools.

What the chat can do

CapabilityWhat it does
Web SearchLooks up current information on the web and uses it in the answer — useful for recent events, prices, or anything that changes over time
CodeRuns code behind the scenes to do real work: calculations, data cleanup, charts, and analysis of files you share
ImagesCreates images from a written description — illustrations, concepts, mockups
VisionLooks at images you upload and can describe, read, or answer questions about them
File uploadsAccepts documents, images, spreadsheets, and ZIP files so you can ask questions about your own material
Voice inputLets you speak your question instead of typing, using the microphone button

You'll see small buttons for Web Search, Code, and Images in the chat input bar.

Uploading files

You can add files to the conversation in a few ways:

  • Click the upload button in the chat input bar
  • Drag and drop a file straight onto the chat
  • Paste a copied image or file from your clipboard

Files appear above the input box before you send, so you can review them first. Once sent, the chat can read, analyze, or transform them.

Choosing a response style

You can tell the chat how you'd like it to answer:

StyleBest for
DefaultEveryday questions — no special changes
ConciseShort, direct answers when you're in a hurry
ExplanatoryDetailed, step-by-step answers when you want the full picture

Examples

Turn a spreadsheet into a chart Upload a spreadsheet of monthly sales and ask "show me a chart of revenue by month." The chat reads the file, runs the numbers, and builds a chart — often as an interactive app.

Check something current Ask "what's the latest on this topic?" and the chat searches the web before answering, so you get up-to-date information rather than a guess.
