Welcome to Nirvai
Think of Nirvai as a place to hire and train your own AI coworkers — assistants that work for your business around the clock. You tell them what you need, and they handle the conversations, the repetitive busywork, and the connections to the tools you already use. Your agents can chat with customers, automate workflows, search the web, generate images, manage databases, and more — all without writing code.
New here? The diagram below shows the path most people take through Nirvai, from connecting your accounts to putting your agents on autopilot.

Key concepts
A few words come up again and again in Nirvai. Here's each one in plain language.
Agent — your own AI assistant. Like a teammate you train for a job: you give it instructions, knowledge, and tools, then put it to work answering questions and taking action. Learn more
Tool — an action an agent can take in another app — send an email, create a calendar event, look up a record. Tools are an agent's hands in the outside world. Learn more
Credential — the saved key or login that lets a tool connect to an outside service (like your Gmail or HubSpot). You add it once, securely, and your tools reuse it. Learn more
Knowledge — the documents and URLs you give an agent to read — PDFs, web pages, notes. The agent searches them to answer questions about your business. Learn more
Channel — where your agent lives once it's ready — WhatsApp, Instagram, Slack, your website, and more. One agent can answer on several channels at once. Learn more
Automation — a multi-step workflow that runs on its own — on a schedule or when something happens. It chains agents and actions so routine work runs without you. Learn more
Database — a smart, spreadsheet-style table for your data. Your agents can read from it and write to it during a conversation, and you can view it as a list, grid, or kanban. Learn more
Your First Steps
1. Sign in to Nirvai
Go to nirvana-ai.app and sign in with your account. If you don't have one yet, you can create one for free.
2. Explore the Chat
The easiest way to start is the Chat — a ready-to-go AI assistant that can search the web, generate images, write code, and create documents. No setup needed.
3. Create Your First Agent
Agents are where Nirvai becomes powerful. An agent is your own AI assistant with:
- Custom instructions — Tell it how to behave, what tone to use, what to focus on
- Knowledge — Upload documents, PDFs, and URLs so it can answer questions about your business
- Tools — Connect it to external services so it can take real actions (send emails, update CRM, etc.)
- Channels — Deploy it to WhatsApp, Instagram, or your website so customers can talk to it

4. Automate a Process
Once your agents are set up, connect them into Automations — multi-step workflows that run on autopilot. For example:
- Monitor your inbox every morning and send you a summary
- Process customer feedback and route urgent issues
- Generate weekly reports from your data
5. Build a Database
Use Databases to organize your data with multiple views (list, grid, kanban, calendar, forms), and let your agents query and update it during conversations.
Credits
Nirvai uses a credit system to power all AI operations. Every time an AI agent processes a message, runs a tool, generates an image, or executes an automation step, it consumes credits. Credits are the fuel that keeps your agents running.
- Every AI interaction uses credits — whether it's a chat message, a workflow execution, a knowledge search, or an image generation
- Credits are consumed across all features — Agents, Automations, Chat, Database AI queries, and more
- Your credit balance and usage history are available in your account settings
Running out of credits will pause your agents and automations until you add more. Monitor your usage in the Credits & Usage page to avoid interruptions.
