Overview
Connect your Instagram Business account to Nirvai so agents can send Direct Messages and read account details through native tools. You connect with "Log in with Facebook" and pick the Page linked to your Instagram account — Nirvai handles the technical parts.
This page sets up the credential that native Instagram tools use. If you want your agent to automatically answer incoming Direct Messages, connect it as a channel from the Agent Control Panel.

- Send Instagram Direct Messages as your business account
- Read your Instagram Business account details
Before you start
- An Instagram Business or Creator account — a regular personal account won't work
- A Facebook Page linked to that Instagram account
- Admin access to the Facebook Page
Not a professional account yet? Switch it in the Instagram app: Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account. It's free and takes a minute.
Connect it
Instagram connects through Meta's official sign-in — Nirvai never sees your password.
- In Nirvai, open Credentials → Create credential and pick Instagram Business.
- Give the credential a name and click Connect. A Facebook Login window opens.
- Sign in and approve the permissions Instagram asks for.
- Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account. The credential is connected and ready to use.
