LinkedIn (Personal)

Prefer guided AI setup?

Instead of following these steps manually, you can use the AI Credential Assistant — describe what you want to connect and the AI will walk you through the setup step by step, tailored to your account.

Overview

Connect your personal LinkedIn profile to Nirvai so agents can publish content as you — the member. Posts and shared articles appear on your own profile feed under your name.

Personal vs. Organization

LinkedIn has two separate connections, and they are not interchangeable:

  • LinkedIn (Personal) — this page. Publishes as your member profile (urn:li:person).
  • LinkedIn (Organization) — publishes as a company Page (urn:li:organization).

The credential is locked at connect time to whichever account you pick, so connecting the wrong variant posts to the wrong account. Choose Personal if you want content to appear on your own profile.

What you can do

  • Publish text posts as your profile
  • Share articles and links as your profile

Before you start

  • A personal LinkedIn account you want to publish with.

Connect it

LinkedIn connects through LinkedIn's official sign-in — Nirvai never sees your password.

  1. In Nirvai, add a LinkedIn (Personal) credential and click Connect LinkedIn. LinkedIn's official sign-in page opens.
  2. Sign in on LinkedIn and authorize Nirvai.
  3. When you return, pick your profile — tools will publish as you (the member).
  4. Confirm. Your personal LinkedIn is now connected.

Got your credential? Connect it to an agent

Use the AI Tool Creator to turn this credential into agent-callable tools. Describe what your agent should be able to do and the AI investigates the API, configures the endpoints, and gives you a reviewable toolkit before saving anything.
