Connect your Google Sheets account to Nirvai to read, write, and automate spreadsheet data and workflows.

Supported Authentication Methods

  • OAuth2

Prerequisites

  • A Google account
  • Access to Google Sheets

Setup Instructions

  1. In Nirvai, go to Credentials > Add Credential
  2. Select Google Sheets OAuth2
  3. Click Authorize
  4. Sign in with your Google account
  5. Review and accept the requested permissions:
    • View and manage your spreadsheets
    • Read and write cell values
  6. You'll be redirected back to Nirvai with your credential saved

Permissions Requested

  • spreadsheets: Full access to spreadsheets
  • spreadsheets.readonly: View spreadsheet data
  • drive.file: Access to files created/opened by the app

What You Can Do

  • Read and write cell ranges
  • Append rows and update values
  • Create and format sheets
  • Build automated reporting and data pipelines

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • Access Denied: Ensure you authorized all requested scopes
  • Range Not Found: Verify the sheet name and A1 notation range
  • Quota Exceeded: Check your Google Sheets API usage limits
