Setup Instructions
Basic Authentication
- In Nirvai, enter your Toggl credentials:
- Email: Your Toggl account email
- Password: Your Toggl account password
Alternative: API Token
Toggl also supports API token authentication where:
- Username = Your API token
- Password = "api_token" (literal string)
To find your API token:
- Log into Toggl Track
- Go to Profile Settings
- Scroll to API Token section
- Copy your token
Important Notes
- Basic auth uses your regular account credentials
- API tokens are recommended for production use (more secure)
- Your credentials provide access to all workspaces you're a member of
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
- Invalid credentials: Verify email and password are correct
- Two-factor authentication: If enabled, you may need to use an API token instead
- Account locked: Too many failed attempts may lock your account temporarily
