Start from a template

A template is like a show home. Everything is already built and furnished so you can walk through it and see what living there would be like — and when you say yes, the same house gets built for you, filled with your own things instead of the display ones.

How to use one

Open Live Apps and switch to the Templates tab. Each template card tells you what it shows, who it's good for, and which accounts it reads from.

  • Preview it first. Every template can be opened and clicked through before you commit. What you see is marked Sample data — your app will show your own.
  • Check what it needs. A template that reads an outside service shows Connect (the service) to use this app. Some templates need nothing at all — those run on your Nirvai workspace data and work immediately.
  • Click Use this app. Give it a name, and Nirvai builds it on your account and loads your real data. This takes a few moments.
  • It's yours from there. The finished app is a normal live app: refresh it, share it, and change anything with Edit with AI.
Templates are a starting point, not a cage

Once created, a template-built app is exactly like one you described yourself. Ask it to add a chart, drop a section, or change the colours — it's your app now.

While it builds

Creating an app from a template sets it up and loads your data for the first time. If a source is slow or unavailable you'll be told how many loaded — for example "3 of 4 data sources loaded" — and you can refresh the rest from inside the app.

Nothing to see yet?

If the Templates tab is empty, no ready-made apps have been published yet. You can build any app you like with AI in the meantime — that's the same engine templates are made with.
